Hi, I’m Camille, a professionally trained pastry chef dedicated to teaching others and helping them live their baking dreams.
Long ago when I was just 13 years old, I fell in love with baking. I became completely obsessed with it and watched every show I could find and read every Martha Stewart and cookie magazine out there. I dreamed of becoming a great pastry chef, but I was pretty limited on resources where I grew up.
While in college, I dropped everything and went to Le Cordon Bleu in Arizona, and I started to live my baking dream.
Sure, I had dabbled in baking throughout my teenage years by making cakes and cookies every week. And I even learned how to work with fondant to make a couple of wedding cakes.
BUT, that wasn’t enough. I wanted to get to that next level and really dig deep into the art of baking. I felt myself feeling stuck and unable to get where I wanted to go with my skills without education and knowledge.
Here’s the thing though. Culinary school costs $$$$, and you won’t find a good cheap one out there. So my goal and mission is to teach you the things you want to learn without having to spend over $20k for less than a year of schooling. (yuck, I know)
Beyond that, my goal is to teach you more than what you would learn at school. When I finished my culinary degree, there were still things I didn’t know (like how to develop recipes), and felt that I should have learned those things.
