    What makes a cookie chewy?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well, there are several things that can make a cookie soft and chewy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But let's keep it simple for today. Three of the best ingredients you can use to add chewiness to a cookie include cornstarch, brown sugar, and molasses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Of course, you probably wouldn't add plain molasses to most cookies unless you want that flavor to have a more prominent roll.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Brown sugar is one of the best ingredients to use to make a cookie chewy.     Wednesday is usually French day on my feed, but everything got shifted with the whole IG meltdown on Monday.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So...New on blog today are these apple cinnamon and caramel crepes! Sounds very autumn-ish, right?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you ever made crepes with a cast iron skillet? It's my favorite way to make crepes because the crepes turn out similar to what you get from a professional grade crepe maker.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Good crepes (like the ones in France), shouldn't be pale and have no color.
